fanlistings

what, why and how

According to TFL, a fanlisting is "a place for all fans of a particular show, movie, actor, actress, singer, etc. to come together and build the biggest listing of people from all around the world who are fans of that subject.". So, it's just exactly what it says: a list of fans. Maybe you think it isn't a specially useful thing... But isn't something good showing to the world your devotion and love for a determinate character, actor, book or whatever? So, this is what you do when you join a fanlisting. And, of course, you can always have the chance to meet other people who like the same you do... and that's always a great thing :)

If you're interested in knowing still more about the fanlistings, check any of both fanlisting networks for more information: The Fanlistings Network / The Anime Fanlistings Network

why

Why I've wanted to make this site, you ask? :) Well, I love the Silent Hill series, I'm totally addicted to these games (too much for my own good, actually) But although I like them all, I've always had special feelings for the first one, this one. I don't know what is it exactly, but I've always felt it has something different than the others. Something that makes it better, and I feel somehow that, even when Konami can release other SH games and I still will love them all, because I like the games style itself, the plot, the soundtracks style, everything... none of them will ever beat this one for me. Ever.

So, well - if you love this game as much as I do... please join :)

credits

The scripts this site uses are Enthusiast (by Angela) to manage the fanlisting, NL-PHPmail (by Sasha) for the contact form, and NL-ConvertToPHP (also by Sasha) in some pages of the site.

I'd like to thank wallofdeath for translating the Lost Memories book, and also to and systemich for arranging and converting the text translation to PDF format. I don't know them, but as their names are in the PDF file I downloaded from... I don't remember exactly where, I've wanted to give proper credit to them :) Of course I haven't translated the book on my own, I wish I could do that :/
